The Grounds & Beaches
The jewel in the crown for this unique location are the superb beaches of Waterwynch Bay.
Although all beaches in the UK belong to the Crown, Waterwynch House is privileged to own the foreshore section of the beach closest to the house. Low tide uncovers an expansive fine sandy beach and unveils two smaller sandy beaches to either side of the property. Stunning clear waters and golden sands are flanked by dramatic cliff faces, baring a number of deep caves.
The House is less than a one-minute stroll to the beach and is edged by ten acres of charming gardens and natural woodland.
The beaches of Waterwynch remain quiet and peaceful throughout the year. A spur of the Pembrokeshire National Coast Path provides walkers public access to the beach but there is no public vehicle access.
There are a variety of exclusive guest walks which roam through the ten acres of private grounds, taking in the beaches, magnificent cliff top sea views, bluebell woodlands, a natural stream, wildflower meadows and the formal lawns and gardens.
Boats & Mooring at Waterwynch
Enjoying Tenby’s exquisite coastline by boat is a great privilege and Waterwynch is the perfect spot for sailing enthusiasts with vehicle access at the side of the house onto the beach slipway.
